Company: Peak Integrity LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company (“Peak Integrity,” “we,” “us,” or “our”)
Website: PeakIntegrity.co (the “Site”)
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information in connection with:
· Your use of our Site and related online services (including contact forms, newsletters, scheduling, live chat, and any future client portal).
· Marketing, events, and communications.
· Our client engagements for technology consulting and AI advisory services (the “Services”), where applicable.
This Policy does not cover third-party websites, platforms, or services that we do not control, even if we link to them.
Peak Integrity currently operates as a business-to-business (“B2B”) consulting and advisory firm. In some engagements, we may process personal information on behalf of a business client under a written agreement. In those situations, the business client’s instructions and contract terms may govern our processing. Individuals should direct privacy requests to the relevant business client unless Peak Integrity is acting as the party responsible for fulfilling requests under applicable law.
We may collect the following categories of personal information, depending on how you interact with us:
· Contact details: name, email address, phone number, company, title, mailing address.
· Inquiry and communications: information submitted through forms, scheduling tools, live chat, email, or phone calls.
· Marketing and newsletter details: subscription preferences, event registrations, attendance, feedback, and communications.
· Account or portal information (if a portal is offered): login credentials and account profile details.
· Client engagement information: information shared during discovery, assessments, workshops, implementation support, and advisory sessions.
· Billing information: billing contact details and invoice records.
· Device and browser data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system.
· Usage data: pages viewed, time spent, clicks, referral URLs, and approximate location derived from IP.
· Cookies and similar technologies: used for site functionality and analytics.
· Analytics providers (for example, website traffic analytics).
· Business partners and referrals (where permitted by law).
· Public sources (for example, company websites or LinkedIn) for B2B outreach where permitted by law.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (for example, government ID numbers, precise geolocation, biometric data, or health information) through the Site. Please do not submit sensitive information via web forms or chat.
If we must handle regulated or sensitive data in a specific client engagement, we will do so under applicable contract terms, security requirements, and any required addenda (for example, a Data Processing Addendum).
We use personal information for purposes such as:
· Provide and improve the Site (functionality, troubleshooting, performance).
· Respond to inquiries and communicate with you.
· Provide Services (including assessments, recommendations, implementation support, documentation, training, and advisory work).
· Operate our business (billing, accounting, project management, recordkeeping).
· Send communications, including marketing and occasional promotional messages where permitted by law and consistent with your choices.
· Security and fraud prevention (detect and prevent malicious activity).
· Legal and compliance (enforce terms, comply with law, and respond to lawful requests).
Because we provide AI advisory services, you should understand how AI tools may be used in our work and the choices available to you.
Unless you expressly authorize it in a signed writing, Peak Integrity will not use Client Data or Client Confidential Information to train, fine-tune, or improve any public or generally available machine learning or AI model, and we will not permit such use on our behalf.
This covenant does not restrict Peak Integrity from using: (a) anonymized or aggregated information that cannot reasonably identify you or any individual, (b) our pre-existing materials, methodologies, templates, and general know-how, or (c) residual knowledge retained in unaided memory that does not disclose Client Confidential Information.
We may use AI tools (such as enterprise AI assistants, coding assistants, and productivity tools) to help draft, summarize, analyze, or create work product more efficiently. When we use AI tools in connection with an engagement, we aim to apply reasonable safeguards, which may include:
· Data minimization (sharing only what is necessary for the task).
· Access controls and role-based permissions.
· Vendor due diligence and contractual protections, where available.
· Human review of AI-assisted work product before delivery.
AI systems can be imperfect and may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or biased output. AI-related recommendations and outputs should be validated and tested prior to production use.
If you prefer that we do not use AI tools in connection with your engagement, you may opt out at any time by notifying your engagement lead in writing or by contacting us as described in Section 15 (Contact Us).
If you opt out, we will use reasonable efforts to accommodate your request. Depending on the scope of Services, opting out may affect timelines, pricing, or the tools we can use to deliver certain work product, and we may discuss alternatives with you.
We may disclose personal information to:

Vendors are permitted to process personal information only to provide services to us and must follow appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.
Lawyers, accountants, auditors, insurers, and similar advisors as needed for business operations and compliance.
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, personal information may be disclosed as part of that transaction.
We may disclose information to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights and safety, and investigate fraud or security issues.
We may disclose information when you request it or consent.
We do not sell personal information. We also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (sometimes called targeted advertising) as those terms may be defined under certain state privacy laws.
We accept credit card payments through third-party payment processors (for example, Stripe) and may also invoice clients for payment.
Peak Integrity does not store full credit card numbers on our systems. Payment processors handle payment card data subject to their own terms and security standards. · SMS/text messages: If we send SMS messages, you can opt out by replying STOP (or equivalent) as described in the message. Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier.
We may still send non-promotional messages that are necessary for Services, security, or account-related communications.
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to:
· Provide the Site and Services.
· Maintain business records and invoices.
· Resolve disputes and enforce agreements.
· Comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the context (prospect vs. client engagement).
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Where Peak Integrity processes personal information on behalf of a business client in connection with the Services, we can provide a Data Processing Addendum (“DPA”) that describes each party’s data protection responsibilities and applicable security and confidentiality terms.
To request our DPA or to ask questions about how we handle personal information in a client engagement, contact us at: [privacy@peakintegrity.co].

You may also contact us by email at [privacy@peakintegrity.co].
We may need to verify your identity and/or authority to act on behalf of an organization before fulfilling requests.
If we decline a request and applicable law provides an appeal right, we will provide information on how to appeal our decision in our response.
Peak Integrity is based in the United States. If you access the Site or engage our Services from outside the US, your personal information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other locations where our vendors operate.
If we begin supporting clients in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we may provide additional disclosures and enter into appropriate agreements and transfer mechanisms as required by applicable law.
Our Site and Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
